Pathophysiology

Fusion of ventricular and normal beats

Isolated VEBs which usually occur without any compensatory pause, and do not significantly alter the concurrent heart rate. The QRS configuration contains characteristics of both the normal sinus beat and the VEB, and is usually preceded by a P-wave.
